Greetings, I’m Jacob! I love people, strategy and challenge.

I look forward to the opportunity to connect and see what we can build!

Till then my friend, be good and don’t get caught ; )

About Me

I am a former Army Engineer Officer that traded my assault rifle for a power point presentation.  It has been a great journey and it has made me appreciate the details.  I have led teams of 30+ in the corporate environment as well as combat environment, both possessing adverse challenges.  There is little that I have not seen, have not done, or lack the prowess to adapt. Risk is my friend and I relish opportunities to embark on something new.  There is virtually no one that I cannot relate to at some level.

I pride contributing to the success of the team.  Many of my corporate dealings have been in the energy sector, primarily in business development, infrastructure, logistics, managing large operations and leading teams.  I have passion for leadership, problem solving and maximizing contribution to ensure a successful outcome using strategy, innovation, and effort.  I am always looking for ways to challenge innovation.

In summary, I am an accomplished transformational leader that intentionally seeks opportunities to maximize leadership, experience, and continuous learning.  I practice servant leadership and have proven strengths in analysis, problem solving and communication.  I have proven skills in developing human capital, financial analysis, business valuation of assets and leading efficient operations for maximum results.

I am eagerly seeking a challenging executive role that will allow me to maximize my leadership capabilities, vast experience and education while achieving and surpassing your organizational goals and objectives. Given my experience, education and leadership in operations, logistics and business development, I am perfectly positioned to operate and grow a company.

My professional career in a single line, “We define an ‘A’ player this way: a candidate who has at least a 90 percent chance of achieving a set of outcomes that only the top 10 percent of possible candidates could achieve.”

Curriculum Vitae

I have had the privilege and honor of serving in a variety of leadership roles across multiple industries that have culminated in great personal success.  For many of these roles, I did not have previous experience or education.  At this point, the better question is “what haven’t I done?”  I am handily versed in everything from physical therapeutic regiments, all topics military to financial business strategy…and most things in between.  I can even speak to how to run a successful memorial grounds operation.

My proven track record illustrates I am highly adaptive to multiple industries and challenges.  My 15 years of progressive experience in adverse environments, change management and strategic instruction in both military and corporate settings illustrate my flexibility.  I am an experienced leader that is driven by challenge constantly seeking to leverage or better my leadership capabilities.  I thoroughly enjoy contributing to the success of organizations, individuals, groups both in the corporate collective and the community.  I am eager to put this to work in order to assist in achieving your desired outcomes.

Children’s Mentoring Connection

Jacob and Mel have been matched since May of 2019. When they were first matched together, Mel was only 6 years old and was shy and unsure if he wanted to leave his mom and go anywhere with this new person. Jacob could see his hesitation, so they stayed at Mel’s house and played with his toys for a while, ultimately ending the evening getting ice cream! Mel’s mom texted Jacob after the visit and said he is excited about the next time they can get together! Over the past year and a half, they’ve played basketball at the YMCA, played at area parks, made supper together, and walked Jacob’s dogs. They also ride bikes all over, and have discovered they both enjoy Painter’s Pottery! I think Jacob’s own words say it all, “It’s been great times.”
